1. Miss May wants to take room 5 to the movies. She has $300. The movies cost $10 each. She has 26 students. Does she have enough money? How do you know?there are 30 tens in 300 and i need 26 tens.
2. Room 5 is going on an ANZAC trip. There are 30 students. Each student needs to pay $10. Miss May has $260. Did everyone pay their money? How do you know?No there are 26 tens in $260. I need 30 tens.

Tickets to a Jay Z Concert cost $100. How many tickets can I buy if I have:

1. $3578=65
2. $2601=86

3.  Use rounding and compensating to solve addition and subtraction problems.
